The Al Salam family is growing and looking for a passionate Learning Support Teacher of English to join our team immediately.

Job Summary: 

As an English support teacher, you will work with children and young people who need extra support or require an advanced learning programme to reach their full educational potential. You will also support the class teacher in differentiation and planning for SEND/G&T students.

You will work with individuals who have physical or sensory impairments, speech and communication difficulties, learning difficulties, autism, social, emotional and mental health needs, or have a combination of these difficulties. You will work with children and young people who need extra support in class and within the Inclusion Department.

You will also work with gifted, talented, and more- able students.

Your primary duty will be to identify individual needs and create a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment to ensure SEND and G&T students’ progress.

Requirements:

- Bachelor\'s degree in Special Education or related field and two years of school experience.

- Good spoken and written English.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Team player with an understanding of a diverse work environment.

- An adaptable and flexible person eager to learn and undertake new challenges.
