The Marketing Manager leads the marketing team in all of 80/20’s short and long term marketing endeavors, advising any adjustments to pricing, product, and promoting the product as needed. This individual works in tandem with the Sales team initiatives to produce viable marketing campaigns, coordinate marketing activities, and conduct marketing research to support or reevaluate current marketing and sales strategies. A strong drive, along with a collaborative spirit and servant’s heart are key to this role. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results; hiring, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating and enforcing policies and procedures * Implement, but also be hands-on, with all integrated marketing initiatives including, but not limited to, email marketing, in-house promotions, direct marketing, marketing automation, video production and web support to align with corporate goals * Help to identify new opportunities through technology to keep the 80/20 brand fresh and relevant to our customers * Manage the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials * Managing the team’s annual marketing deadlines to meet strategic goals * Developing strategic sales and marketing plans based on the company’s goals that will promote sales growth, brand awareness, market penetration and customer satisfaction for the organization * Oversee the creation of all press releases, the 80/20 connections newsletter, and all marketing materials * Maintain and monitor social media accounts which promote our products and services Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing * 3+years of experience with planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns and successful public relation efforts * Demonstrates professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills * Experience in strategic planning and execution of a marketing campaign. * Prior experience with planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns and successful public relations efforts * Effective at motivating teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects Preferred Qualifications: * Master’s Degree in Marketing or MBA * 6+ years of experience with planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns and successful public relations efforts
