We are seeking a Tax Accountant for our growing, team-oriented financial services client, located near Portland, Maine.

Responsible for providing a full range of tax and accounting services for the firms clients; including preparing individual and business tax returns, recommending tax and financial strategies, identifying and mitigating tax risks while building solid relationships with the clients.  Assist with growing the business by promoting the firms services and expanding the client base.

Must have outstanding tax and accounting, client service, communication, analytical, time and project management skills.  QuickBooks experience is required.  Lacerte tax software and/or Thomson-Reuters tax research experience is a plus.

Masters degree in Taxation is required.  CPA or EA is a plus.  Minimum of three years of hands-on tax preparation experience with individual or business tax returns.
