The Sales Intern is primarily responsible for supporting the Sales Team's objectives to exceed customer expectations. This position will provide real world professional experience that will aide in preparing the intern to excel in a professional environment after graduation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
- Working closely with the manager or assigned team member to complete all allocated tasks.
- Conducting research or gathering information through market data.
- Attending and participating in meetings.
- Review new pricing as provided by the OEM (pricing trends).
- Reviewing sales performance against sales targets.
- Observing and carrying out sales processes.
- Create an organized online folder structure under the guidance of the Manager.
- Delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- In the process of obtaining a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Sales and Marketing (or similar)
- Position requires excellent planning and organization skills, extreme attention to detail and significant computer skills.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
