Position Title: AWS Infrastructure Manager
Location: Dallas, TX
Responsibilities
- Overall 15+ Years of experience.
- Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure to meet business requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop infrastructure as code templates using AWS CloudFormation or similar tools to automate the provisioning and management of resources.
- Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of the AWS infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand infrastructure requirements and provide guidance on cloud-based architecture and solutions.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect AWS resources, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption.
- Optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency by analyzing resource utilization and recommending appropriate adjustments.
- Conduct regular performance and capacity assessments to ensure infrastructure meets scalability and performance requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, including root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
- Stay up-to-date with AWS services, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance the infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of experience managing AWS infrastructure in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of AWS services, architecture, and best practices.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as AWS CloudFormation or similar technologies.
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices in a cloud environment.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools for infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with serverless computing using AWS Lambda or similar technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
